My early childhood was spent in the Mustamäe district of Tallinn. My mother is an architect, and my father is a designer. I grew up in a bilingual family, as my stepfather is Estonian. I graduated from Tallinn's 26th Secondary School (now the Humanitarian Gymnasium) and Tallinn Art School.
In 2000, after finishing high school, I enrolled in the St. Petersburg State Academy of Theatre Arts in the scenography faculty. After my studies, I lived and worked in St. Petersburg, but I also spent a lot of time in Tallinn.
In 2015, I decided not to return to St. Petersburg and enrolled in the master's program in scenography at the Estonian Academy of Arts, which I completed in 2018. I have worked at the Rakvere Theatre, Ugala Theatre in Viljandi, Russian Theatre in Tallinn, TEMUFI, the National Opera of Estonia, and the Tallinn City Theatre. I am a member of the Estonian Theater Union and the Association of Estonian Scenographers.
